DESIRA programme is a five-year EU funded research project that seeks to address challenges in the smallholder agri-food system in Malawi by developing climate-smart, integrated technological options adapted to local conditions and the farmers’ realities. The action will also comprise a thorough understanding of socio-economic conditions that drive or hamper adoption through a multi-institutional and multidisciplinary research effort.
