In collaboration with the Department of Fisheries, Government of Assam, the event “Hatchery-produced Mola Seed Release Program" highlighted the endorsement and active participation of local farmers and showcased the promising prospects of mola culture for income generation and nutrition in Assam. Mr. Munindra Nath Ngatey, ACS, the esteemed Deputy Commissioner of Darrang district, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Approximately 144 participants, including 27 Department of Fisheries officials, fish producers, seed growers, hatchery operators, and members from Farmers Producers Companies (FPC), also graced the event with their presence. A guideline on rearing and culture of hatchery produced mola seed in both English and Assamese language was also released by the delegates.
