    Abstract
    • The findings are presented of an investigated conducted to determine the seasonal availability, distribution, abundance and biology of the small pelagic species occurring along the coast of Tanzania. Data are provided regarding the basic structure of the fishery, fishing effort, catches and catch rates, species composition, maturity and spawning, and sex ratio.
