Farmers’ training program on induced breeding of small indigenous fish, Odisha, India

Abstract
- In order to enhance capabilities and facilitate the transfer of technology among farmers, hatchery operators, and seed growers, WorldFish collaborated with the Directorate of Fisheries, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Department of the Odisha government to conduct a "Field Level Farmers’ Training Program on Induced Breeding of Small Indigenous Fish in Odisha," which took place in Tulanga Village, Tirtol Block, Jagatsinghpur district on July 26 and 27, 2023. As part of the event, an Odia version of a practical guide on the induced breeding of mola carplet (Amblypharyngodon mola) for mass seed production, along with guidelines for raising mola seeds, was distributed among the participants.
