dc.description.abstractThis paper attempts to highlight some of the conflicts arising from fish and fishers and their impacts especially on the poorer nations. It discusses how some of these problems can be overcome by innovative research partnerships, and the roles of fisheries research in shaping the new peace agenda necessary for assuring food security.
