dc.description.abstractGIFT fry were transferred to PAL in Nigeria to establish a pilot GIFT seed supply and grow out systems. WorldFish transferred 56,000 GIFT fry from WorldFish HQ in Malaysia to Nigeria in three batches, first batch on 23rd April 2022 (22,000), second on 29th April 2022 (22,000) and the third on 19th May 2022 (22,000). These fry are being raised as the F0 broodstock. WorldFish signed an agreement with Premium Aquaculture Limited to provided necessary infrastructure for establishing the GIFT parental broodstock, its maintenance. breeding, and seed production.en_US
