dc.description.abstractIn collaboration with WorldFish Headquarters in Malaysia, the FARD Department plans to document all reservoirs under the functional management of the department in the form of a reservoir atlas in order to manage the state’s reservoirs more efficiently and effectively. For the first volume, information on 79 reservoirs has been provided in the atlas. The atlas is expected to provide a baseline for spatial planning during reservoir fisheries management and will help government departments, policymakers, planners and researchers make informed decisions during culture-based fisheries activities and formulate a conservation action plan.en_US
