dc.description.abstractTimor‑Leste’s GIFT aquaculture model rapidly increased smallholder tilapia productivity—from 1 t/ha to over 17 t/ha—through improved seed, feed, management practices, and market access. The model strengthened value‑chain linkages, expanded farmer participation, and significantly improved household incomes, demonstrating strong potential for scaling across SIDS and similar smallholder contexts.en_US
