Pacific Island countries and territories (PICTs) are reliant on aquatic resources for food and nutrition security, income, livelihoods, cultural practices, economic development, and government revenue. Fisheries and aquaculture are particularly important in these large ocean states, making it essential to understand how climate change will affect oceanic, coastal and freshwater resources. This can then inform effective management measures and policies that minimize risks and sustain benefits for communities and governments.en_US
