dc.description.abstractAs a (small) contribution toward reestablishing communication between Kuwait-based fishing research and other research conducted elsewhere in the tropics, the growth parameter estimates and the "a" and "b" values of length-weight relationships of 25 fish and three penaeid shrimp species from Kuwait waters are presented, along with the methods used to estimate them. This will hopefully encourage their use in comparative studies of vital statistics offish and shrimp.
