dc.description.abstract | The survey highlighted access to water, sanitation, and hygiene services in Myanmar remains low in the rural areas. It is estimated that over 30% of households lack basic hygiene services and at least 60% of households do not have access to safe drinking water. The current political situation is unlikely to reverse the situation as more people need access to WASH services, especially those who are internally displaced due to conflict estimated to reach 1.8 million in 2023 (ibid). | en_US |
