dc.description.abstractThis report outlines activities implemented under the Establishment of a Decentralized GIFT Hatchery project in Bayelsa State, aimed at strengthening local hatchery capacity and access to quality tilapia fingerlings. Fifty fish farmers received structured technical training at PAL Premium Aquaculture Limited, Abeokuta. Following training, WorldFish conducted on-site appraisals to assess farm readiness and suitability. Based on established criteria, Ptedela’s Farm was selected and formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement with WorldFish.en_US
