dc.description.abstractThe two-day training on the basic course of the Training Needs Assessment (TNA) Approach was conducted for 24 participants (including 05 women) from the Ba Phnom Technical Working Group in Ba Phnom District, Prey Veng Province. The training applied participatory methods (student-centered) and incorporated adult learning principles. It covered six sessions (including the introduction) and two group discussion sessions. After the training, participants were able to understand the objectives and benefits of TNA, why and what is TNA, level of TNA and steps in conducting TNA. From comparing the results of the pre-test (45%) and the post-test (74%) it is the participants gained knowledge by 30%. The overall training evaluation for the level of neutral 9%, satisfied 59% and 32% very satisfied. The highest percentage was facilitation with 70% followed by 37% of training methods, while the lowest percentage was on general management and place respectively.en_US
