This blog explores the integration of intersectionality into gender-transformative research within food, land and water systems. Drawing insights from a series of webinars convened by the Gender Transformative Research Methodologies Community of Practice (GTRM-CoP), this blog highlights the need for intentional and foundational inclusion of intersectional approaches throughout the research cycle. It underscores how intersectionality—rooted in feminist and critical race theory—goes beyond additive variables to examine complex and intertwined power relations across social identities such as gender, class, ethnicity, and ability.en_US
