dc.description.abstract	Where the previous Strategic Plan was strongly fisheries-oriented, our scope of work today has broadened and has been influenced by equity, sustainability and efficiency considerations. With this Strategic Plan, ICLARM - The World Fish Center reinforces its commitment to aquatic resource conservation in the coming decades. The Center is confident that the priorities identified in this Plan represent the optimal approach towards enhancing the role of aquatic resources research can play in the lives of people in developing countries in the next two decades.
