Coastal aquaculture technologies, practices, and environmental conditions were conducted in Lagos, Ogun and Ondo States to gain insight into existing water-based aquaculture systems and prevailing ecological context that may inform the IMTA project. The studies utilised multidisciplinary and mixed methods, including field visits, stakeholder consultations, and laboratory analyses of fish, aquatic plants, water, soil, and plankton.
