dc.description.abstract | This annual report provides key achievements of the CGIAR Research Program (on Fish Agri-Food Systems (FISH) in 2020. During the year, FISH focused on further accelerating the transition from discovery to enabling the uptake of research and policy advances, assessing impacts and analyzing projected benefits and seeking to understand and manage the multiple challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic across the FISH portfolio. Overall, FISH continues to progressively deliver benefits and contributions to the transformation of fish agri-food systems from securing fish supplies from sustainable aquaculture and small scale fisheries through to value chain and products developed from fish and aquatic foods for poor and vulnerable consumers. In addition to informing government policy responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, FISH research teams and partners continued to shape the policy environment for uptake of fish agri-food innovations in 2020, accelerating the delivery of outcomes from the program. | en_US |
