dc.description.abstractRelative biomass per recruit of adult (i.e. sexually mature) fin to shellfish is shown to help in identifying levels of fishing mortality likely to lead to recruitment overfishing. This is illustrated with data from a Malaysian penaeid shrimp fishery.
