The International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR) is working together with our development partners to build on the unique assets and strengths of rural people. We focus on learning through researching, actions, peer to peer learning, and enriching their knowledge. The project enhances productivity, resilience, and nutrition-sensitive outcomes in Cambodia by improving management of rice-field fisheries (RFF), Community Fish Refuges (CFRs), and integrated pond-dike cropping systems to support sustainable practices and scaling. The project aims to integrate homestead aquaculture and vegetable gardening at households and schools, establish market linkages, and integrate fish powder into the School Meal Program as part of the next scaling initiative.
