Aquatic Foods Initiative - AqFI Reflect Workshop 2024 (Day 1)

Abstract

The presentation highlights the 2023 major achievements of the Aquatic Food Initiatives and interlinks the work package in the initiatives. Key facts include significant production of knowledge products, peer-reviewed articles, and innovations in use. There were numerous policy changes reported, extensive partnerships formed, and numerous capacity development events held. The initiatives connected multiple regions and countries, addressing various challenges in aquatic food systems due to underinvestment in R&D. The ongoing efforts continue to improve the resilience and sustainability of aquatic food systems.
