The gender equality and social inclusion in Aquatic Foods initiative, spanning from 2022 to 2024, aims to enhance gender equality and social inclusion through strategies like the Women’s Empowerment in Fisheries and Aquaculture Index, gendered aquaculture value chain studies, and climate change impact assessments on fisher communities. Future efforts will focus on developing tools to measure collective agency in fisheries women and youth self-help groups, targeting successful outcomes by the initiative's end.en_US
