dc.description.abstract | This third 6-monthly report for the period from April to September 2021 covers activities associated with the four major Outputs of the PADTL2 Project -the three major thematic Outputs relating to increased availability, increased accessibility and increased consumption of fish; and a fourth Output on knowledge sharing and dissemination. The prolonged disruption to socio-economic activities in Timor-Leste due to COVID-19 induced lockdown has had the effect of delaying the progress of implementation of several components of the PADTL2 project over this reporting period. The in-country COVID-19 lockdowns and curbs on international travel have direct and significant impacts on the ability of the Project team to implement the various PADTL2 activities, many of which are necessarily field-based. The Dili-based Project team reduced the internal travel to the most essential trips and having to use using telephone communication for supporting activities in the field, with lower satisfactory outcomes compared with face-to-face interactions. | en_US |
